Kitchen Manager Canning Village Meat Market Inc. Location Kingsport, NS Salary 20.00 to 25.00 hourly (To be negotiated) / 35 hours per week Full time Early morning, Morning, Day Starts as soon as possible Benefits: Health benefits Languages English Education College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years Experience 3 years to less than 5 years Work must be completed at the physical Location. There is no option to work remotely. Work site environment Noisy Hot Work setting Food service establishment Responsibilities: Requisition food and kitchen supplies Supervise and co-ordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales and wastage Prepare food order summaries for chef Must have knowledge of the establishment's culinary genres Supervise and check delivery of food trolleys Additional information Transportation/travel information Own transportation Work conditions and physical capabilities Fast-paced environment Work under pressure Tight deadlines Standing for extended periods Walking Physically demanding Attention to detail Personal suitability Client focus Efficient interpersonal skills Excellent oral communication Flexibility Team player Initiative Dependability Benefits Health benefits Dental plan Health care plan Until: 2026-08-10
