Senior Ingenium Developer / Technical Lead (Wealth Platform)

We are seeking a Senior Ingenium Developer / Technical Lead to support key initiatives within a Wealth platform environment. This role is ideal for a highly experienced professional who thrives in a leadership capacity, providing technical oversight, ensuring delivery quality, and guiding architecture decisions.

This position operates in a governance-focused capacity, collaborating closely with third-party development teams while driving standards, quality, and successful production delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and validate technical specifications and proposed solutions
• Conduct code reviews for development completed by third-party teams
• Oversee code promotions and manage production deployments
• Perform architecture and solution design reviews to ensure alignment with best practices
• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders, including project management and external development resources
• Provide technical leadership while operating with a high level of autonomy

Key Initiative

• Supporting a Wealth platform transformation initiative , focused on enhancing and refreshing an existing Payout Annuity product
• Scope may include updates to existing product functionality, particularly within policy and billing modules

Required Skills & Experience

• Extensive experience working with Ingenium
• Strong understanding of Ingenium architecture (e.g., Pathfinder → MQ → Source → Database flow)
• Experience with product configuration, including TPH, TPD, TPLRT, TRH, and TRT
• Deep knowledge of the policy lifecycle (New Business → Administration → Claims)
• Proven experience with:
  • Code reviews
  • Solution validation
  • Architecture oversight
• Ability to work independently while leading technical direction and delivery quality

Nice to Have

• Experience working in environments with third-party development teams
• Expertise in wealth or insurance product platforms

This is a Contract position based out of Waterloo, ON.

The pay range for this position is $80.00 - $100.00/hr.
