Salon Associate

Job Responsibility:

Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and dynamic associate to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, promoting our products and services, and assisting in the sales process. The ideal candidate will have a passion for sales and a strong ability to engage with customers, ensuring they have a positive experience while exploring our offerings. Salon experience an asset but not mandatory.

Duties

• Selling tanning and red light/infrared packages, sessions and lotions/products.
• Engage with customers to understand their needs and provide tailored product and service recommendations.
• Conduct product/service demonstrations to showcase features and benefits effectively.
• Assist customers with the purchasing process, including operating the POS system for transactions.
• Maintain an organized and visually appealing salon to enhance the customer experience. Cleaning the equipment, rooms, and salon in general following strict techniques and procedures.
• Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals and contribute to a positive work environment.
• Provide clear communication in English.
• Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly to ensure satisfaction.
• Creating accounts. Use of Salon Touch software. Answering phone. Booking appointments. Laundry. Nightly cash out.
• Undergo basic training and completion of Smart Tan certification upon hire.

Skills

• Proven experience in sales or retail sales is preferred.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage effectively with diverse clientele.
• Excellent organizational skills to maintain store presentation.
• Ability to conduct engaging product/service demos that highlight key features and benefits.
• Familiarity with POS systems for efficient transaction processing.
• A proactive attitude towards learning about new products/services and staying updated on industry trends.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $300.00-$500.00 per week

Expected hours: 15 - 20 per week
