Salary : 65k-75k
An established and highly respected engineering consulting firm is seeking a Field Service Technician to join its growing team in Toronto. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on technical work, problem solving, and being involved in a wide variety of building systems projects across some of the city’s most notable developments.

Key Responsibilities:
- Perform on-site inspections, testing, troubleshooting, and servicing of building systems and equipment
- Support commissioning, start-up, and performance verification activities
- Diagnose technical issues and recommend practical solutions in the field
- Prepare clear service reports, documentation, and field notes
- Coordinate with project managers, engineers, contractors, and clients to ensure project success
- Assist with preventative maintenance reviews and system optimization initiatives
- Ensure all work is completed safely and in compliance with applicable standards and procedures
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a Field Service Technician, Building Operator, Commissioning, HVAC, Mechanical, Electrical, or related technical role
- 3-5 years experience in a similar/relevant role
- Strong troubleshooting and hands-on problem-solving abilities
- Familiarity with commercial, institutional, or multi-residential building systems is considered an asset
- Excellent communication skills and professionalism when interacting with clients and project teams
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to project sites within the GTA
