Enterprise AI Security Engineer at Affirm
Affirm
Join Affirm as an Enterprise AI Security Engineer to oversee security reviews for AI systems. Drive security by evaluating designs, threat modeling risks, and ensuring compliance in a remote-first environment. In this senior security engineer role, you will lead Affirm's end-to-end AI security review processes. This includes architecture evaluation, risk prioritization, and developing controls tailored to AI/LLM technologies. You will also work collaboratively with Security, Legal, Privacy, and Engineering teams to enhance the adoption of AI systems securely. Key Responsibilities:
- Build and run AI security review processes
- Conduct threat modeling of AI systems
- Review source code and system prompts for security weaknesses
- Design security guardrails for AI tools and permissions
- Evaluate third-party SaaS vendors and their AI capabilities
- Experience in enterprise-level AI security architecture
- Proficiency in Python and Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
- Familiarity with cloud services and Kubernetes
- Hands-on experience with threat modeling for AI systems
- Understanding of regulatory environments like SOC 2 and PCI DSS
