About the Role
Our client is looking for a skilled Robotics Engineer with expertise in AI integration to join their advanced engineering team in East London. This role focuses on developing intelligent robotic systems that leverage artificial intelligence for enhanced perception, decision-making, and autonomous operation. You will be involved in designing, building, testing, and deploying robotic platforms equipped with state-of-the-art AI capabilities. This is a unique opportunity to work on challenging and innovative projects at the forefront of robotics and AI, contributing to the next generation of automated solutions. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of engineers and AI specialists to bring sophisticated robotic systems to life.Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop robotic systems, integrating AI algorithms for perception, navigation, and control.
- Implement and optimize AI models (e.G., computer vision, reinforcement learning) for robotic applications.
- Develop and maintain simulation environments for testing robotic systems and AI algorithms.
- Collaborate with hardware engineers to ensure seamless integration of AI components with robotic hardware.
- Conduct system testing, debugging, and performance validation of robotic platforms.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Robotics, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in robotics engineering, with a strong focus on AI integration.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as C++ and Python .
- Experience with robotics software frameworks like ROS (Robot Operating System).
- Familiarity with AI/ML libraries and tools relevant to robotics.
