Responsibilities

Design and develop next-generation data platform features for on-premises and cloud environments.
Participate in data modeling discussions and influence the data products roadmap.
Work across big data platform components including API gateways, message buses, databases, and database abstraction layers.
Propose and drive adoption of best practices for operating data platforms.
Author Apache Spark jobs to implement prerequisite data engineering.
Build and maintain an observability and telemetry platform for proactive infrastructure and application monitoring.

Requirements

3–6 years of experience with a bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science or a related field.
Experience with one or more of Python, Scala, Java, Golang, and C++.
Experience with database technologies and workload optimization.
Experience with big data technologies, the Kubernetes ecosystem, and microservice patterns.
Good understanding of and hands-on experience with SaaS technology development best practices.
