Inventory Accountant
$29 - $32 per hourFull-time

Job Responsibility:
Perform Inventory Management for 2 divisions:
- Reconcile perpetual inventory balances daily using the inventory roll-forward program and make correcting actions
- Monitoring the item cost change and make PRC adjustment
- Pre-balances all inventory accounts to subledger reports two days prior to the month end. Initiate any necessary corrective actions to minimize month end variances for inventory accounts
- Review, investigate any PO variances and clear the variances in the system.
- Responsible for responding branch inventory related inquiries
- Responsible for all inventory accounts reconciliation at month end and book all journal entries to reconcile sub ledgers to the GL
- Review and maintain all item cost adjustments list for month end reclass entries
Providing backup to Accounts Payable:
- Run urgent payments and post invoices when required
Additional Responsibilities:
- Prepare ad hoc reports as needed
- Prepare journal entries when required
- Other duties as assigned
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS
- Windows proficiency (Outlook, Word, Excel)
- Knowledge and experience with basic accounting practices and principles
- Good Typing/data entry skills
- Excellent organizational, time management and communication skills
- Good command of the English language.

Pay: $29.00-$32.00 per hour
