Fullstack Growth Engineer with AI Skills

Become a pivotal part of Homebase's engineering team as a Fullstack Growth Engineer II, leveraging your expertise to drive growth through innovative product solutions. Hybrid work allowed with in-person collaboration in Toronto. You will bring 2–5 years of experience in building customer-facing web applications, primarily using Ruby on Rails, while also engaging with React and TypeScript. This role centers on owning various growth and product initiatives to meet customer needs effectively. You'll work with different teams to identify opportunities and enhance product outcomes using analytics and AI tools. Key Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain backend services in Ruby on Rails
- Execute and oversee product growth initiatives and experiments
- Create engaging customer experiences on the Homebase platform
- Collaborate with Product, Design, and Data teams to prioritize improvements
- Provide mentorship to junior engineers and support their growth
- 2–5 years of experience in software engineering
- Strong knowledge of Ruby on Rails, React, and TypeScript
- Experience with AI tooling and data analytics
- Effective communication within teams and in ambiguous situations
- Collaborate in-person at our Toronto hub on designated days
