The Ministry of Community Safety is seeking dedicated individuals to join Saskatchewans correctional system as Correctional Officers. Candidates must have knowledge of the Canadian criminal justice system and human behaviour, along with strong communication, critical thinking, interpersonal, decision-making, digital, and problem-solving skills. A valid Saskatchewan Class 5 Drivers Licence (or equivalent) and a valid First Aid and CPR/AED certificate with at least 12 months remaining before expiry are required before training begins. The position is typically supported by a university degree in the social sciences, a diploma in law enforcement, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
