Senior TAI Reinsurance Data Specialist
Munich Re Group
Lead TAI administration and retrocession data governance as a Senior Data Specialist in Munich Re’s hybrid Toronto office. Advanced SQL and reinsurance expertise are central.
This senior role supports Retro Operations as TAI platform administrator and subject matter expert. You will manage system processes, data architecture, interfaces, and integrations. The work connects business and technical requirements across premium, claims, in-force, and financial reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer TAI and optimize system parameters
- Manage interfaces, upstream feeds, and transaction processing
- Validate, reconcile, and maintain transactional data
- Support production cycles, audits, and operational reviews
- Develop SQL queries and automated processes
Requirements:
- Post-secondary education
- Five-plus years of insurance or reinsurance experience
- Advanced TAI system knowledge, including workflows and integrations
- Advanced SQL and Microsoft Excel proficiency
- Experience with ETL, validation, and operational controls
