Join Us as Sr Sales Operations Analyst, SKYWAVE

ORBCOMM is seeking a data-driven and collaborative Sr Sales Operations Analyst to support the effectiveness and efficiency of our sales organization at SKYWAVE, an ORBCOMM company. In this role, you will help optimize sales processes, maintain reporting and analytics, and provide actionable insights that support revenue growth and operational excellence.

You will partner closely with Sales, Marketing, Finance, Customer Experience, and Operations teams to help ensure accurate reporting, effective forecasting, and strong CRM data quality.

This role will be based in Ottawa, ON, working on a hybrid schedule. 

What You’ll Do

Sales Analytics & Reporting 

• Develop, maintain, and enhance sales dashboards, reports, and performance metrics within Salesforce and other reporting tools. 
• Analyze pipelines, bookings, forecasts, and sales activity data to identify trends and opportunities. 
• Provide recurring and ad hoc reporting to support business decisions.

CRM & Data Management 

• Support Salesforce data integrity initiatives through regular audits, validation, and process improvements. 
• Assist users with CRM-related questions, reporting needs, and system best practices.
• Help maintain sales process documentation and operational standards.

Forecasting & Operational Support 

• Support sales forecasting processes by collecting, validating, and analyzing sales data. 
• Assist with territory planning, pipeline reviews, and sales performance tracking.

• Partner with Finance and Sales leadership to ensure reporting accuracy and consistency.

Process Improvement & Cross-Functional Collaboration 

• Identify opportunities to improve sales processes, workflows, and reporting efficiency. 
• Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Customer Experience, Operations, and Finance teams to support operational initiatives. 
• Participate in projects involving CRM enhancements, automation, and process optimization.

Who You Are

You are analytical, detail-oriented, and passionate about using data to drive business performance. You enjoy solving problems, improving processes, and collaborating across teams to support organizational success.

If you have:

• 3–5 years of experience in Sales Operations, Revenue Operations, Business Operations, Analytics, or a related field.
• Experience working with Salesforce CRM and reporting tools. 
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and communicate actionable insights.
• Experience creating dashboards, reports, and performance metrics.
• Proficiency in Excel and data analysis techniques. 
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. 
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. 
• Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills. 
• Experience within technology, software, SaaS, IoT, or related industries preferred. 
• Experience supporting forecasting, pipeline analysis, or sales performance reporting preferred.
• Leverage AI-enabled tools and automation to support daily tasks and productivity.
• Commitment to continuous learning in digital and AI literacy

The anticipated starting salary range for candidates expressing interest in this position is $80,000 – $95,000 CAD. Actual compensation will depend on factors such as location, technical experience, skills, certifications, etc.
