Job Summary:
Susan Ulmer Addiction Services Inc. is seeking an experienced Relief Receptionist to provide coverage as needed immediately, with full reception coverage during an upcoming maternity leave. The Receptionist is the first point of contact for participants, families, visitors, and community partners. This role helps keep the front desk organized and welcoming while supporting scheduling, communication, documentation, intake processes, and general administrative needs. Responsibilities: * Greet participants, visitors, and community partners in a professional and welcoming manner.* Answer phones, take messages, and respond to general inquiries.
* Assist with check-in, paperwork, scheduling, and intake documentation.
* Complete filing, data entry, forms, certificates, mail, and general office duties.
* Support counsellors, therapists, program staff, and leadership with administrative tasks.
* Maintain confidentiality, professionalism, and an organized reception area. Qualifications: * Previous reception, administrative, or front-desk experience required.
* Strong communication, organization, and multitasking skills.
* Comfortable using computers, email, scheduling systems, and basic office software.
* Ability to remain calm and professional in sensitive situations.
* Experience in addictions, mental health, healthcare, or social services is an asset.
* Experience working with First Nations communities is an asset. Relief coverage starts ASAP, with full maternity leave coverage to follow.
