Lead strategic technical initiatives as a Senior Engineer in Ohsweken, Ontario with FNESL. This full-time role requires 20+ years of engineering experience and offers expert oversight on infrastructure projects. The Senior Engineer will provide vital leadership and regulatory compliance for FNESL's capital projects. Focus areas include reviewing designs, mentoring staff, and engaging with First Nations leadership. This is an opportunity to influence project planning, risk management, and technical standards in the water and wastewater industry. Key Responsibilities:
- Provide senior engineering oversight and qualified sign-off
- Review and approve designs, reports, and cost estimates
- Ensure compliance with relevant codes and legislation
- Act as senior technical authority on complex projects
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to quality assurance
- Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) in good standing
- 20 years of progressive engineering experience
- Proven technical leadership and risk management
- Knowledge of Ontario codes relevant to water industry
- Eligible to work in Canada without sponsorship
