Are you passionate about providing quality care for toddlers and primary school-aged children? We are a loving family located in Calgary, Alberta, seeking a dedicated nanny to join our family part-time. This would be Tuesday-Thursday from 2:30-5:30pm, with the potential to increase to 15 hours per week if 5 days are required. The nanny will have the opportunity to have first offer in babysitting periodically out with these hours. Our ideal nanny would be a caregiver who can assist with school pickup and childcare, while also possessing CPR and First Aid certification for peace of mind. The primary responsibilities include picking up our primary school-aged children from school/school bus stop, taking them to our home and providing attentive care and afterschool activities. We value a nanny who can create a nurturing and stimulating environment for our children. Given school pickup is involved, a car and drivers license are essential. In addition to childcare duties, it would be expected to assist with providing the children an afternoon snack and helping with any school work. Fluent English language is required and ability to communicate in French would be advantageous to assist with our children’s educational development. We also have a large breed dog, so being comfortable with pets is a requirement.. We are open to negotiations on hourly for the right candidate.
