Job Responsibility:
The Integration Developer will be primarily accountable for the design, development, and testing of various integrations between I-CARE and other systems. This role requires a highly skilled professional with extensive experience in integration technologies and healthcare systems, particularly Cerner Millennium.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and test integrations between I-CARE and other systems.
- Set up new interfaces in Cerner Open Engine or other interface engines, including but not limited to HL7, EDI X12, XML messaging, and FHIR.
- Configure routing and map interfaces for optimal performance.
- Work with Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles, including C#/VB/ASP.NET development, CCL development, messaging protocols (MLLP, TCP/IP), and standard nomenclatures (SNOMED, LOINC, ICD10).
- Collaborate with healthcare settings to ensure integration solutions meet the unique needs of healthcare environments.
- Facilitate user and end-user focus groups to define needs and gather reporting requirements.
- Create and document functional business requirements and use case scenarios for reporting and custom CCL solutions.
- Work collaboratively with different teams throughout all development and testing efforts.
- Manage projects throughout their life cycle and handle change management effectively.
General Skills:
- Extensive experience with Cerner Millennium modules.
- Expertise in designing and setting up new interfaces in Cerner Open Engine or other interface engines.
- Proficiency in interface mapping and routing configuration.
- Strong background in OOP, C#/VB/ASP.NET development, CCL development, and messaging protocols.
- Familiarity with standard nomenclatures such as SNOMED, LOINC, and ICD10.
- Experience working in healthcare settings and understanding their unique needs.
- Skilled in facilitating focus groups to define needs and gather reporting requirements.
- Ability to create and document functional business requirements and use case scenarios.
- Strong collaborative skills to work with different teams in development and testing.
- Experience with project management life cycle and change management.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as an Integration Developer in healthcare settings.
- Strong understanding of Cerner Millennium and related technologies.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines efficiently.
Job Type: Fixed term contractContract length: 12 months
