Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable Java-based applications to support end-to-end supply chain systems , including inventory, distribution, fulfillment, and transportation.
• Collaborate with product owners, solution architects, and DevOps teams to deliver robust, secure, and high-performance micro-services.
• Develop and integrate RESTful APIs and messaging-based services (Kafka/RabbitMQ) to enable real-time communication across supply chain systems.
• Write clean, testable, and maintainable code using Java, Spring Boot, and other modern technologies.
• Participate in sprint planning, code reviews, unit testing, debugging, and performance tuning.
• Ensure systems meet enterprise standards for scalability, availability, and reliability.
• Analyze supply chain data flows and contribute to system design optimizations to improve throughput and reduce latency.
• Maintain technical documentation and assist in the support of production systems.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
• 5+ years of hands-on Java development experience, particularly with Spring Boot and distributed systems.
• Strong understanding of supply chain operations and systems , such as warehouse management, inventory control, order processing, and logistics.
• Experience integrating systems using RESTful APIs , message queues, and microservices architecture.
• Proficiency in working with relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, Cassandra).
• Familiarity with version control (Git), build tools (Maven/Gradle), and CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI).
• Experience with Agile methodologies and collaboration tools like Jira and Confluence.
• Previous experience in large-scale retail or e-commerce supply chain environments.
• Experience in GCP is must

Preferred Qualifications:

• Knowledge of containerization and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Familiarity with front-end frameworks (e.g., React) is a plus.
• Experience with monitoring/logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, ELK stack, Splunk).

Job Type: Fixed term contractContract length: 8 months

Pay: Up to $50.00 per hour

Expected hours: 8 per week
