Your role and responsibilities

As a Business Sales & Delivery Leader for Platform Engineering Services, you will be responsible for identifying and capitalizing on new business opportunities and collaborating with the team to develop and market solutions.

This role requires a unique blend of business acumen, technical expertise, and sales skills to effectively engage with clients and deliver value.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

• Identify New Business Opportunities: Capitalize on new business opportunities by leveraging your business acumen, technical expertise, and sales skills to drive growth and revenue.

• Collaborate with Team: Work closely with the team to develop and market solutions that meet client needs and support IBM's pursuit of the business.

• Deliver Value to Clients: Engage with clients to understand their needs and deliver value through effective solution delivery and sales strategies.

• Drive Business Growth: Develop and execute strategies to drive business growth and expansion in the Platform Engineering Services market.

Hybrid: Your work location of City, State was assigned based on business need and currently your role designated as a hybrid role. Hybrid roles are expected to perform their primary duties from a combination of IBM location, client sites or work at home. The required number of days to be in the office is to be determined by your management team. Any changes to this work arrangement must be preapproved by your manager before any changes are made.

Required technical and professional expertise

• Deep Expertise in Business Development: Proven ability to identify and capitalize on new business opportunities, driving growth and revenue through effective sales strategies and technical expertise.

• Technical Acumen in Platform Engineering: Experience with platform engineering services, including solution development and delivery, to meet client needs and support business pursuits.

• Strategic Sales Leadership: Deep understanding of sales principles and practices, with the ability to develop and execute strategies that drive business growth and expansion in the Platform Engineering Services market.

• Client Engagement and Value Delivery: Expertise in engaging with clients to understand their needs and deliver value through effective solution delivery and sales strategies.

• Market Development and Expansion: Experience in developing and executing market development strategies to drive business growth and expansion in the Platform Engineering Services market.

Preferred technical and professional experience

• Deep Industry Knowledge: Experience working in the Platform Engineering Services industry, with a deep understanding of market trends, client needs, and competitor activity.

• Advanced Technical Skills: Exposure to emerging technologies and innovations in platform engineering, with the ability to leverage this knowledge to drive business growth and expansion.
