Who are you?

You are an experienced EVM Specialist with a minimum of 7 years post-graduate experience looking for the next step or are currently undertaking a similar role in a similar environment

Job Description

• Develop and implement EVM systems and processes tailored to project specific needs. 

• Track and analyze project performance metrics, including schedule and cost variances, to identify potential issues and risks. 

• Generate comprehensive EVM reports to inform stakeholders about project progress and performance. 

• Develop accurate forecasts of project costs and schedules based on earned value data. 

• Monitor and assess the impact of changes on project performance and adjust EVM forecasts accordingly. 

• Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks that could impact EVM metrics. 

• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure accurate data collection and reporting. 

• Provide training and guidance to project teams on EVM principles and practices. 

• Design and implement digital dashboards and reports to visualize project performance. 

• Utilize data analytics tools to extract insights from project data. 

• Automate or facilitate automate report generation and distribution. 

• Collaborate with project teams to gather and clean data. 

• Ensure data accuracy and integrity. 

 

Qualifications

Required Skills and Qualifications: 

• Bachelor's degree in relevant subject 

• Strong understanding of EVM principles and methodologies 

• Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Primavera P6, MS Project) 

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills 

• Strong communication and presentation skills 

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team. 

• Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) 

• Proficiency in data cleaning and analysis techniques 

• Ability to get a security clearance with Government of Canada
