We are working with an established real estate organization in Vancouver to recruit a Property Leasing Coordinator to join their residential property team. They provide rental housing within a unique, community-focused environment and place a strong emphasis on delivering a high level of service to their residents.
Your new role
- Responding to leasing inquiries by phone, email and in person
- Following up with prospective residents regarding availability and waitlists
- Conducting suite viewings and building tours
- Building strong relationships with prospective and existing residents
- Supporting the preparation and administration of new lease agreements
- Tracking lease expiry dates, vacancies and applicant information
- Maintaining accurate leasing activity and property records
- Updating information and accounting-related forms within Yardi
- Coordinating with internal teams regarding applications and housing requirements
- Assisting with parking and storage administration
- Providing information to management on leasing activity, housing trends and resident needs
- Participating in regular operations and marketing meetings
- Providing general administrative support to the Property Manager and wider team
What you'll need to succeed
- 1–2+ years of experience within property management, residential leasing and/or a sales-focused environment
- Strong customer service experience, with hospitality experience is also highly valued
- A natural people person with strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills
- A proactive, customer-focused and sales-minded approach
- Strong written and verbal English communication skills
- Good organizational and office administration skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and follow up consistently
- Professional and confident phone and in-person manner
- Strong Microsoft Office skills
- Yardi experience would be an asset
