Interior Renovations, Accessibility Improvements, Classroom Access
Dawson City Arts Society (DCAS) invites proposals from qualified consultant teams to provide design services and construction-phase support for Phase 2 — Interior Renovations and Rear (“Classroom”) Entrance Upgrade at the Klondike Institute of Art & Culture (KIAC / Dënäkär Zho).
This Request for Proposals is intended for consultant teams with demonstrated experience in NBCC Part 3 / Part 4 buildings, public-use interiors, heritage or older-building renovations, and project delivery in northern or remote contexts.
Proponents must include, at minimum, a Yukon-licensed Architect qualified to act as Prime Consultant / CRP, and Structural Engineering services retained by the proponent. Mechanical, Electrical, Fire Protection, and any other specialty disciplines shall be included where required to deliver a coordinated, code-compliant, permit-ready design and appropriate construction-phase support.
