Commercial Associate, Intern

Biogen seeks a Commercial Associate Intern for a 12-month role starting January 2027 in Toronto. The position provides hands-on experience supporting commercial initiatives, business operations, and cross-functional projects within the Canadian biopharmaceutical affiliate, combining practical assignments with structured learning opportunities.

Responsibilities

Support cross-functional commercial projects and business priorities including planning, coordination, and execution
Maintain databases and document archives for accurate record-keeping and organization
Develop and update business materials including presentations, reports, and internal communications
Prepare meeting agendas, capture decisions and action items, follow up with stakeholders
Support commercial capability-building initiatives by coordinating training and gathering feedback

Requirements

Currently enrolled in university program in Marketing, Business, Life Sciences, or related field
Strong interest in biopharma, healthcare, and patient engagement
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite with digital marketing tool familiarity an asset
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in fast-paced environment
Fluent in English; French proficiency an asset
Digital ability to adopt new systems and work across multiple platforms

Compensation: $58,000 CAD/year
