Electrical Quality Assurance Engineer Burnaby

Elevate your engineering career as a Quality Assurance Engineer with extensive electrical expertise in Burnaby. This full-time role demands knowledge in medium to high voltage equipment, ensuring quality standards are met. Join the Quality and Geomatics Division and lead the development of risk-based surveillance strategies for electrical equipment. Your experience will be critical in coordinating project quality requirements and conducting supplier evaluations, including factory acceptance tests. Collaborate closely with various engineering teams and business partners to define and execute quality assurance processes for transmission, distribution, and generation assets. Key Responsibilities:
- Design surveillance strategies for electrical equipment quality
- Review manufacturer’s test plans and specifications
- Witness factory acceptance tests and ensure compliance
- Resolve non-conformities effectively
- Manage supplier relationships and improvement plans
- Degree in Electrical Engineering from a recognized institution
- Professional Engineer registration or eligibility with EGBC
- Minimum 8 years of related experience
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Experience in cross-discipline coordination
