Job Title : C/AL Microsoft Dynamics NAV Developer

This position reports to the Manager, IT

Summary of position: Visions Electronics is currently looking for a Mid-Senior level C/AL Microsoft Dynamics NAV developer with a solid knowledge of business processes and Financial Reporting tools to join our professional services team full time. This role works as a key member of our IT team, providing functional and domain expertise related to the gap/fit process analysis, customization, design, testing, implementation, and user training around key business processes enabled through the NAV software and Reporting systems. Additionally, the NAV developer position will work with our existing end user-group in support of and resolving their day-to-day business operations questions and issues, and related small to medium-sized projects.

Responsibilities:

• Analyzing requirements, designing solutions, creating estimates, and other supporting activities related to implementation pursuits.
• Developing functional and technical specifications for Microsoft Dynamics NAV enhancements and integrations
• Collaborating with stakeholders to understand their business needs and translate them into functional specifications, system design and financial reports.
• Collaborating with other software developers to provide NAV solutions.

· Facilitating user acceptance testing (UAT) and providing support in resolving any issues prior to go-live.

· Preparing reports, manuals and other documentation on the status, operation and maintenance of software.

· Understanding the solutions from the customer business, functional, and technical point of view.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Proficiency in C/AL, AL, and other relevant programming languages.
• T-SQL.
• Stored Procedures.
• C#, VB.NET.
• Visual Studio.
• Understanding of OOP.
• Experience programming within NAV Dynamic.
• Writing SQL statements and debugging .NET applications.
• Power BI experience.

· Understanding of basic financial and accounting principles
