Our client is a reputable litigation firm seeking a seasoned Estate Litigation Associate with over 5 years of experience. This role involves drafting legal documents, managing various estates and trusts matters, and developing litigation strategies. You will be responsible for client communication and contributing to business development initiatives while working independently in a virtual setting. Key Responsibilities:
- Manage estates and trusts litigation from start to finish
- Draft pleadings, motions, and other legal documents
- Conduct legal research and develop litigation strategy
- Attend mediations, court appearances, and negotiation sessions
- Communicate with clients and opposing counsel directly
- Active member of the Law Society of Ontario
- 5+ years of litigation experience
- Strong advocacy and analytical skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Proven ability to manage files independently
