Immigration Case Specialist

Job Responsibility:

New Direction Canada Inc., the Ministry of Citizenship and Immigration and Ministry of Education in Quebec, Canada. Society of Immigration Consultants), a licensed immigration consultant, is an educational institution specializing in Canadian college application consulting business, as well as supporting business related to the study and life of international students. The agency is headquartered in Montreal, Quebec.

Responsibilities:

1. Completing forms required for various applications, drafting submission letters/personal statements, mining the client's file for information, and following up on outstanding information in a timely manner

2. Research requirements for immigration processes/documentation via internet, direct phone communication with visa offices and country government authorities

3. Review documentation provided by applicants for accuracy prior to delivery to the consultant for final review.

4. Full accountability of assigned files or applications including checking the status of the application and billing processes, reviewing invoices for approval

5. Ensuring that deadlines are achieved, and that work completed meets the high degree of accuracy required.

Requirements:

1. Educational requirements: A Bachelor's Degree is required, master's degree or above is advantageous.

2. Language requirements: Strong oral and written English and/or French. Fluent in Mandarin Chinese is a plus

3. Strictly abide by the company's code of ethics and code of conduct to provide first-class service to customers.

4. Possess strong logical thinking ability, and excellent communication and organizational skill

5. Act conscientious and meticulous, proactive in work, and be able to work as a team, and independently

6. Have a good ability to work under pressure, have a sense of responsibility, and be competent in handling inquiries and problems.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $15.00-$30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 37.5 per week

Schedule:

• Day shift
• Monday to Friday
