Job Title: Software Specialist
Location: Montreal, Quebec (Hybrid Working Model)
Responsibilities:
Software Development Life Cycle:
- Write HLR / LLR consistent with system specifications
- Ensure traceability of requirements
- Code functions while respecting the project framework
- Use tools and project environment
Software Verification Life Cycle:
- Review development artifacts
- Write test cases
- Develop and execute test procedures
- Participate in team meetings
- Use tools and project environment
Configuration Management:
- Manage software modifications
- Handle problem management
Activities Required to Achieve Key Milestones:
- Perform other activities required for SOF (Safety of Flight)
Requirements:
- Experience in software development in Avionics with the DO178-C standard
- Proficiency in programming languages such as C & Python
- Ability to write software requirements and conduct unit testing, integration, validation, and verification
- 3-5 years of experience in Avionics or related field
- Experience with the concept of "Integrated modular avionics (IMA)" - asset
- Bilingual in English and French
