Lead Electrical Design Engineer

Step into a pivotal role at Plan Group as a Lead Electrical Design Engineer. Influence innovative designs while leading a collaborative and technologically advanced team. In this Project Team Lead role, you will be integral to the design planning and execution phases. You'll manage the design team's workflow, provide technical guidance, and ensure quality control of all design deliverables. Your ability to resolve both technical and non-technical design challenges will be essential in driving project success while liaising with site representatives for optimal installation practices. Key Responsibilities:
- Direct the complete design planning process
- Ensure team members are clear on their roles
- Manage design tools to enhance project delivery
- Troubleshoot and resolve design issues effectively
- Approve detailed drawings based on various inputs
- Degree/Diploma in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
- At least 3-5 years of design experience in construction
- Proficient with Autodesk tools like Revit
- Advanced knowledge of BIM processes
- Good familiarity with Ontario and Canadian codes
