Senior Analyst - HEOR

Role: Senior Research Analyst, RA3 (Market Access & HEOR)

We are looking for a senior market access and HEOR research analyst, bringing solid experience of Canadian and North American pharmaceutical markets, payer environments, and consulting dynamics.

Areas of responsibility will include managing project workflows, advising client on market access needs, such as commercialization, pricing (PMPRB and pCPA), HTA (CDA and INESSS), provincial and private drug plans, health systems, patient support programs, etc. The senior research analyst will work on client projects within a team and satisfy all market access and HEOR requirements.

In addition to having a solid experience in market access, the right individual will also bring HEOR experience, such as conducting evidence synthesis, HEOR modeling including budget impact models, developing economic and clinical HTA submission dossiers, AMCP dossiers, developing patient journey assessment, conducting primary market research (PMR), writing reports and presenting findings to various reimbursement agencies and clients. Knowledge of the US healthcare setting is very important.

Here is what you will need to be successful:

Education and Experience

• Master’s degree in a quantitative discipline (such as Health Economics, Pharmacoeconomics, or Biostatistics) is required
• 3-5 years of relevant professional experience, or combination of experience and a higher degree in a related field
• Experience managing Canadian and US payer evidence and access projects are required

• Proven experience in HEOR modelling (BIMs and CEMs) and the preparation of submission dossiers for private and public reimbursement submissions is required.

Knowledge and Skills

• Deep knowledge of the Canadian and US health care systems, including public/private payer pathways, PMPRB regulations, the pCPA negotiation process, and PSP setups in Canada
• Emerging project management skills, with the ability to coordinate project timelines, manage milestones, and support team members on deliverables
• Ability to deliver client work on time and conduct critical appraisal and quality assurance on client-facing and payer-related market access and HEOR materials
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; excellent presentation skills

Location: Anywhere in Canada (currently remote/home-based; subject to change). Candidates must be legally authorized to work in Canada.
