Job Responsibility:
Overview We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional dining experiences to our guests. Your primary responsibilities will include taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring customer satisfaction. Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome guests with a friendly demeanor.
- Take accurate food and drink orders using the restaurant's point-of-sale system.
- Upsell menu items to enhance the dining experience and increase sales.
- Serve food and beverages promptly while ensuring presentation meets restaurant standards.
- Monitor tables for guest satisfaction, responding promptly to requests or concerns.
- Handle cash transactions accurately, processing payments according to restaurant policies.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area and service stations.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and delivery.
- Adhere to food safety guidelines and health regulations at all times.
Requirements
- Previous experience in the hospitality or food industry is preferred but not required.
- Strong time management skills to efficiently handle multiple tables and tasks.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage positively with guests.
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and processing payments.
- Knowledge of food safety practices is a plus.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
