CPA Articling Position

Job Responsibility:

VKO LLP Chartered Professional Accountants is looking for a new graduate or first year CPA articling student to join our team. We are an Edmonton based accounting firm providing professional services to owner-managed businesses and not-for-profit organizations. At VKO LLP, you will be part of a growing team and work alongside partners, managers and other articling students to advance your career.

Please note, at this time we will only be accepting and looking at applicants who have finished their degree and are in the process of starting or are currently enrolled in the CPA PEP program.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare all aspects of compilation, review and audit engagements
• Prepare personal, corporate and trust tax returns
• Complete other filings as required including GST returns, T4's and T5's
• Communicate with clients and assist clients as needed

Requirements:

• Admission requirements for the CPA program must be met or currently enrolled in the program.
• Great time management and organizational skills
• Exceptional attention to detail and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Pay: $45,000.00-$50,000.00 per year
