Sales and Development Manager - Design and manufacturing of boat docks and lifts

Our client is a well-established Quebec-based manufacturing company specializing in the design and manufacture of docks and boat lifts. Recognized for the quality of its products, its expertise, and the robustness of its installations, the company boasts a dedicated team that takes pride in its work. In a context of growth, our client is looking for a new individual to actively contribute to the company's operations and success. The Sales and Business Development Manager will play a key role in generating new revenue and driving the company's growth. Reporting to the General Manager, you will convert emerging opportunities into new accounts, which will then become new sources of revenue. You will be responsible for expanding our sales across our geographic network, i.e., in Canada, the United States, and internationally. Business Development Prospect high-potential international markets to develop sustainable revenue streams. Develop action plans to penetrate these markets and build a strong distribution network. Contribute to the company's growth by expanding Quais Bertrand's sales network internationally. Identify new high-potential clients and convert them into dealers. Develop and implement effective action plans with these clients to build relationships and initiate the business development process. Ensure efficient and accurate reporting aligned with priorities. strategic.

 

ACCOUNT MANAGEMENT

• Achieve set objectives (in value) by implementing the necessary actions for each account.
• Develop and maintain an effective and lasting relationship with decision-makers within the accounts.
• Promote parts and accessories sales as an additional revenue stream.
• Provide adequate support for quotes and follow-up on internet leads.
• Assist dealers in resolving issues.

 

RETAIL SALES

• Ensure retail sales and provide customers with professional information.
• Be the primary point of contact for customers by managing all phases of the process Sales.
• Interact with clients and prospects by phone, email, and through promotional offers, providing accurate quotes and confirming stock availability.
• Promote the sale of accessories to direct clients.

 

EMPLOYMENT CONDITIONS

• Base salary + Performance bonus.
• Permanent full-time position.
• Group RRSP with employer contribution.
• Work shirts and boots provided.
• Paid time off during the Christmas period (2 weeks).
• Travel within Canada and the United States: 30% of the time from September to April (10 days per month) - driver's license and passport required.

  SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (business development, sales, marketing).
  • Highly performance-oriented and results-driven.
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in business development/network or sales.
  • Experience with a distribution network is considered an asset.
  • Excellent communication skills in French and English (written and oral).
  • Very good customer service skills with a "partner" attitude.
  • Ability to self-motivate and work independently.
  • High level of flexibility and Adaptability.
  • Knowledge of MS Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and CRM software, Salesforce, etc.
