Senior Data Scientist in Capital Markets

Join the OSC as a Senior Data Scientist, where you'll design and deliver advanced analytics solutions for the capital markets. This role features significant autonomy and strategic oversight. As a subject matter expert reporting to the Head of Data Strategy & Analytics, you will lead initiatives from conception through delivery, ensuring data solutions align with business priorities. Your work will enhance analytical capabilities, offering mentorship while driving innovation in decision-making processes across the organization. Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee complete data science product lifecycle management
- Develop and deliver actionable dashboard insights
- Define best practices for analytics within the team
- Facilitate effective communication with senior stakeholders
- Test and deliver cloud-based prototypes for business value
- 5+ years of Data Science or Advanced Analytics experience
- Strong background in Agile frameworks and project leadership
- Proficiency with analytics programming languages
- Ability to mentor and develop junior talent
- Excellent organizational planning and communication skills
