Rural and Remote Division of Family Practice
Embrace rural family medicine with Northern Health in Hazelton, BC. Provide part-time or full-time care involving community-based services, ER coverage, and inpatient responsibilities. Northern Health is looking for a Family Physician to serve at Wrinch Memorial Hospital and Wrinch Medical Clinic. This role includes delivering emergency department services, long-term care, and community outreach clinics. Flexible schedules are designed to support your professional aspirations and work-life balance while contributing to the FTE commitment. Key Responsibilities:
• Provide community-based Family Medicine services
• Cover the Emergency Department for patient care
• Deliver inpatient care to hospitalized patients
• Offer long-term care services for chronic health needs
• Participate in optional outreach clinics in nearby communities Requirements:
• Current ACLS and ATLS certifications
• Emergency department experience is essential
• Completed Indigenous Cultural Safety training
• Experience in rural or remote healthcare settings
