Direct Support Professional - Temporary Full Time Position in a Supported Independent Living Program

DIRECT SUPPORT PROFESSIONAL
Direct Support Professional (DSP) employees work with people who experience developmental disabilities as they live in their homes and communities. This position assists people in their daily life, working with them and their connections to ensure that they can live fully in the community. Direct Support Professionals recognize people's rights to direct their life, understanding that each person has unique gifts and needs, and they support people to learn skills for their own growth and development.

Requirements:

• Satisfactory Vulnerable Sector Police Check


• Access to reliable transportation

Preferred:

• 12 Months Experience 


• Developmental Services Worker, Child and Youth Worker, or post-secondary education in a related field


• Experience with working with Behaviour Support Plans and CPI techniques.


• Experience supporting people living within a Supported Independent Living model.

Direct Support Professional in London Programs Supported Independent Living temporary until May 7, 2027//
Temporary Full-time 40 hours per week//
Rotate days and afternoons//
Alternate weekends//
Provides personalized support to adults who live independently in the community. By helping them develop the skills and support needed to live as independently as possible.//
Experience with Developing daily living skills//
Experience with Dual Diagnosis supports//
Experience with working with external professionals//
Experience with working with the homeless and those involved in the legal / justice system//
Full G Driver's license and use of vehicle required//
Wage : $25.18/hr - $ 29.46/hr
Closing Date : August 29, 2026, 11:59PM//Includes alternate weekends //
Flex hours, shifts may include days, afternoons, night shifts and minimum 2 weekends a month //
Closing Date: July 31, 2026 at 11:59 PM//
Full G-License Required//
