Lead financial reporting and corporate finance for a Calgary-based real estate client overseeing development entities and partnerships. Apply advanced Excel and project accounting expertise.This accomplished Controller provides strategic leadership across accounting, reporting, and finance functions. The work supports accurate reporting, regulatory compliance, cash flow management, internal controls, project financing, and investor requirements. Oversee year-end reporting, NTRs, tax returns, and GST complianceReview reconciliations, trial balances, and controls across entitiesLead tax planning, corporate structuring, and partnership setupPrepare lender reporting, construction draws, and financing packagesOversee investor reporting, capital tracking, and distributionsRequirements:
Five-plus years of progressive accounting experienceReal estate, construction, or property management experience preferredStrong project accounting and construction financing knowledgeExperience with lenders, investors, and external stakeholdersQuickBooks or Sage proficiency and advanced Excel skillsBring Controller-level leadership, project accounting, financing, and reporting expertise to Calgary’s real estate development environment.
