Job Summary

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and assist them with menu selections, providing detailed descriptions of dishes and beverages to enhance their experience
• Take accurate orders using POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Micros POS, ensuring timely processing of food and drink requests
• Serve food and beverages efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation, sanitation, and safety
• Handle cash transactions accurately through cashiering functions, including cash handling and basic math calculations for bills and change
• Upsell menu items to maximize sales opportunities while respecting guest preferences
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in all service areas, including food handling and kitchen prep spaces
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and address any special dietary needs or guest requests

Experience

• Previous food service experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred but not required; we welcome motivated newcomers eager to learn
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS or similar technology is a plus
• Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during busy service hours
• Knowledge of food safety regulations, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally with guests and team members
• Basic math skills for cashiering duties, bill calculations, and inventory management
• Experience in food preparation or kitchen environments is advantageous but not mandatory; training will be provided for the right candidate
