Part-Time Nanny and Mommy's Helper Needed — Central Edmonton

We're looking for a warm, reliable part-time nanny to help care for our newborn and support light household tasks during the school year. Our 5-year-old will be in French immersion kindergarten. What you'd be doing:

• Babysitting our newborn
• Light household chores and meal prep
• Occasional overlap care if our newborn needs attention during the household-task block

Schedule: - Weekdays (Monday to Friday), 4 hours/day to start, during the school year (we are flexible and can work with your availability to work out a schedule) What we're looking for:

• Experience with newborns/infants specifically — comfortable with feeding, soothing, and safe sleep practices
• First Aid/CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
• Reliable, punctual, and communicative
• Bonus: French speaking ability
• Bonus: comfortable with light school driving. We'll handle drop-off and pickup ourselves, but if you drive and would be open to occasionally covering the school run (10 min from home), that's a plus — not required.

What we offer:

• $20-25/hour depending on experience (driving days reimbursed separately at $0.73/km if that ever comes up)
• A friendly, easygoing family household. Our 5 year old girl is very independent and well spoken in English and knows some French. She loves swimming, doing crafts, going on walks, dancing and gymnastics. She will be going to a French immersion kindergarten in the afternoon starting Sep and will have some extra curriculum classes to go to in some evenings. Our newborn is 6 weeks old. Dad speaks English and French. Mom speaks English and Mandarin. Mom will be working from home and thus needs help.
