Expected Salary: $51,888 to $68,102

To determine final salary, Babcock considers a variety of factors including the successful Candidate’s skills and experience and internal equity. The final base salary offer is at the Company’s sole discretion and presented as part of a competitive total compensation package.

Provide support to project teams, including

Assisting in the management and reporting of project resources, risk, opportunities, and issues

Scheduling and facilitating stakeholder meetings, including compiling meeting minutes and recording & tracking actions

Supporting project stakeholder management and communications

Managing and maintaining project documents as required

Producing reports and presentations for board reviews, progress meetings, etc. as required

Develop metrics and manage databases in support of project delivery objectives

Carry out document and records management (electronic and hard copy filing, archiving) ensuring compliance with Document Control processes

Support in the administration of subcontracts and subcontractors

Manage the project SharePoint site to facilitate communications and data availability

Coordinate onsite visitors including support to health & safety requirements

Develop, manage, and release project communications and formal reporting to the client

Assist in the management of key improvement initiatives

Coordinate project collaboration including tracking and following up on timelines and deliverables, progress reports and action items

Perform other duties as reasonably assigned to support business needs

The ideal candidate brings

1-3 years’ experience working in project management, preferably in an Engineering or Marine environment

Experience in Microsoft Office applications, including strong Excel skills

Strong interpersonal and excellent communication skills with the ability to collate and present information at appropriate levels

Ability to react quickly when necessary to meet challenging objectives.

Solid organizational skills

Ability to work as part of a team or individually

Knowledge of scheduling practise / toolsets are strong assets

A working knowledge with progressing/work package database etc. (Project Estimating and Planning System (PEPS) is desirable

Eligibility for a Canadian Secret Security and ITAR Clearance
