Finance Director - Temporary 1 month

I am looking for a Finance Director for a manufacturing company in Saint-Jérôme for a temporary assignment.


Your responsibilities will include:




- Supervising, mentoring, and motivating the accounting department team;
- Monitoring daily operations and ensuring that deadlines are met;
-Assign tasks, set priorities, and follow up with team members;
-Review and approve certain accounting and financial work produced by the team;
-Serve as a resource person for the team and support employees in resolving issues;
-Collaborate with management to ensure the proper management of financial and accounting activities;
-Monitor specific financial analyses, management reports, and performance indicators;
-Participate in the monthly closing process and follow up on priority items;
-Identify operational issues and implement solutions promptly;
-Ensure the continuity of financial processes and controls throughout the term of the assignment;
-Perform any other related tasks associated with managing the department.

Your Profile:


-Relevant experience in accounting or finance, with experience managing or supervising a team;
-Leadership, independence, and the ability to motivate a team;
-Excellent organizational and prioritization skills;
-Ability to quickly take charge of a department and become operational in a short period of time;
-Strong analytical skills and the ability to solve problems effectively;
-Attention to detail, sound professional judgment, and a meticulous approach;
-Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with various stakeholders;
-Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities simultaneously;
-Bilingual in French and English to communicate with the factory in the United States;
-Experience in a manufacturing environment or with an ERP system (a plus)
