Software Engineer (Full Stack)

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Product Managers, Engineering Managers, and peer engineers to deliver well-scoped product features.
• Build and maintain full-stack, high-performance, and highly available applications.
• Design scalable distributed systems with a holistic perspective.
• Apply test-driven development and CI/CD practices to deliver reliable, high-quality software.
• Communicate with technical and non-technical stakeholders across Engineering, Product, GTM, and Customer Success.
• Evaluate tradeoffs between SQL and NoSQL databases and use caching mechanisms effectively.
• Continuously improve engineering productivity and keep up with technology trends.

Requirements

• 3 to 7+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Proficiency in one or more of Python, Java, PHP, or JavaScript.
• Experience developing full-stack, high-performance, and highly available applications.
• Strong foundation in programming principles and design patterns.
• Experience building scalable systems and commitment to test-driven CI/CD practices.
• Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases, including PostgreSQL or MongoDB.
• Knowledge of caching mechanisms such as Redis or Memcached.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS.
• Demonstrated experience designing distributed systems.
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
• Bilingual English and Chinese skills preferred.
• Experience with NextJS or other front-end technologies preferred.
