Advance your legal career as a Prosecution Lawyer with the City of Toronto. Membership in the Law Society of Ontario and fluency in French are essential for this role. Key Responsibilities:
- Represent the City in court for trials and appeals
- Conduct prosecutions under the Provincial Offences Act
- Provide legal advice to City officials
- Handle matters related to regulatory and criminal offences
- Ensure compliance with legal protocols in prosecutions
- Experience with Ontario Court of Justice or Superior Court
- Sound judgment and excellent advocacy skills
- Membership with the Law Society of Ontario
- Proficiency in French required
- Computer literacy and legal research skills
