Mining Engineering Role with Elk Valley Resources

Advance your career in mining engineering with Elk Valley Resources in an on-site position focused on technical project support and mine planning at Fording River Operations. As a Mining Engineer, you will collaborate with various departments to ensure successful implementation of engineering projects while adhering to safety protocols. This role requires strong project management capabilities, experience in mine planning, and the initiative to work independently while supporting infrastructure development. Key Responsibilities:
- Engage in health and safety program participation
- Design and plan for mine predevelopment projects
- Coordinate major planning efforts and infrastructure needs
- Ensure compliance in waste rock treatment processes
- Collaborate with engineers and reclamation teams
- Bachelor’s in Mining Engineering or relevant experience
- At least five years in mining or mine planning
- EGBC recognized Professional Engineer designation
- Proficient in mining software and digital tools
- Valid Class 5 Driver’s License
