Senior Cloud Architect

Job Description:

Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and maintain robust data pipelines using Apache Airflow.

• Manage and optimize PostgreSQL databases, ensuring high availability and performance.

• Architect and deploy scalable AWS cloud infrastructure, including VPC, RDS, Lambda, EC2,

Redshift, ECS, and IAM.

• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Bitbucket Pipelines.

• Implement and manage security best practices across AWS services.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement backend solutions, with

a preference for Next.js experience.

• Monitor and troubleshoot system performance, ensuring reliability and scalability.

• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in database administration, particularly with PostgreSQL.

• Strong expertise in data engineering and building data pipelines.

• Extensive experience with AWS cloud architecture, including VPC, RDS, Lambda, EC2,

Redshift, ECS, and IAM.

• Proficiency in using Bitbucket Pipelines for CI/CD.

• Solid understanding of security best practices in cloud environments.

• Experience with backend development, preferably with Next.js.

• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

• Strong communication and collaboration skills.Preferred Certifications:

• AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional

• AWS Certified DevOps Engineer – Professional

Nice to Have:

• Experience with Next.js and backend development.
