Full Time: 35hrs (Monday – Friday) | Location: 100 Mile House, BC | Wage: $25-$28/hr

WHAT YOU’LL DO AS AN EMPLOYMENT CONSULTANT (EC)
- Assess client eligibility for WorkBC services and available supports
- Develop individualized Action Plans to support employment goals
- Manage client files within the ICM system with accurate documentation
- Support applications for employment and training programs
- Connect clients with employers, training, and community resources
- Provide ongoing coaching and follow-up support
- Maintain accurate and timely case notes and records
WHAT YOU’LL BRING
Skills & Experience
- Coaching clients from diverse backgrounds
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Problem-solving and client support experience
- Microsoft Office and ability to learn systems (ICM, SharePoint)
- Time management in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Commitment to confidentiality and professional ethical standards.
- Those with lived experience overcoming employment, social, economic, personal challenges, or other barriers that can draw on those experiences in a professional, client-centered manner to support and inspire others are encouraged to apply.
Qualifications
- Post-secondary education in Career Development, Human Services, Social Services, Human Resources, Education, or a related field
- Or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Criminal Record Check, including Vulnerable Sector Check, required upon hire.
