As our Junior Account Manager (B2B Trade) you will take ownership of a portfolio of B2B accounts focusing on real estate developers property managers offices and SMB owner operators driving repeat business and scaling revenue across your book.

Articles B2B program (Article Pro) is expanding and we are creating a brand new role on our Business Accounts team for a hungry relationship driven Account Manager to step in and manage a portfolio of business. You arent building a territory from scratch or knocking on cold doors. Instead you are taking over an active portfolio of 200 established SMB and developer accounts running with it and driving deeper engagement to grow revenue over time.

This role is designed for someone early in their B2B sales career who brings strong customer service instincts foundational sales experience and a high drive to learn. While industry experience in furniture or real estate is a nice to have we care much more about your attitude tech savviness organization and hunger to grow . You will work in a fast paced highly collaborative environment learning on the fly alongside Account Managers Account Development Reps (ADRs) and a dedicated Sales Assistant team.

Within your first few months youd step directly into your portfolio learn our existing playbooks leverage our modern tech stack and begin building strong relationships with your account contacts. About the Business Accounts Team & Your Growth Path

You will report to the Manager Business Accounts as part of Article Pros B2B sales function. Youll work closely with Account Managers Account Development Reps (ADRs) and our B2B Sales Assistant team who support order placement tracking and cross functional logistics.

Learning here is dynamic and immersive. Rather than sitting in endless formal classroom sessions much of your growth will happen on the go : hearing how Account Managers negotiate their deals collaborating on account strategy and absorbing industry knowledge in real time.

Career Pathing & Progression: We view this role as a true launching pad. As you showcase drive build strategic partnerships and hit your portfolio targets there is a clear growth path into a full Account Manager slot (managing larger higher volume portfolio segments) or stepping into future sales leadership opportunities.

We are a hybrid team you will work from our Vancouver HQ 3 days per week (with Tuesdays being mandatory for in person team meetings).

What Youll Do:

You will manage the end to end relationship and health of your account portfolio balancing proactive client relationship building with operational follow through.

Specifically you will:

• Manage & Grow a Book of Business: Take ownership of a portfolio of 200 accounts (real estate developers property managers office spaces and SMBs) driving repeat orders strategic spend commitments and account retention.
• Execute Full Lifecycle Account Tasks: Balance client facing relationship management with operational execution: taking discovery calls preparing proposals placing orders tracking shipments and coordinating cross functionally with logistics supply chain and sales support.
• Collaborate with Support Teams: Partner closely with our Sales Assistants to ensure smooth execution on orders and collaborate with Account Development Reps (ADRs) to maximize account coverage.
• Absorb & Apply Playbooks: Utilize existing segment playbooks while learning how to build and refine account growth strategies on the go as your book evolves.
• Maintain Tech & CRM Hygiene: Adopt our modern sales tools and keep meticulous CRM notes and pipeline records to ensure reliable forecasting accurate account health tracking and seamless cross team collaboration.
• Industry & Target Outreach: Participate in targeted outreach campaigns and seasonal commercial calendars using specialized industry insights to engage property developers and business buyers.
• Protect Profitability & Achieve Targets: Drive consistent portfolio growth to achieve quarterly revenue targets within program profitability guidelines earning uncapped commission as your portfolio scales.

Who You Are:

• Sales Fundamentals & Core Experience: 1 to 3 years of experience in sales account management or business client relations. You understand how businesses operate know how to move deals forward and deliver exceptional service.
• Driven Hungry & Personality First: You bring an infectious positive attitude a strong work ethic and a genuine eagerness to take ownership of a book of business and run with it.
• Tech Savvy & Highly Organized: Highly organized and comfortable adopting modern sales technology CRM automation and AI workflow tools to stay structured take thorough notes and manage account volume effortlessly.
• Adaptable & Experiential Learner: You thrive in environments where learning happens dynamically through peer collaboration observing live deals and applying feedback on the fly.
• Strong Communicator & Relationship Builder: Skilled at building quick rapport with business clients property developers and internal cross functional partners.
• Commercial Interest: A passion or curiosity for interior design real estate development or commercial spaces is a strong asset but not required (we can teach you the industry!).
• Willingness to travel periodically for trade shows client meetings or offsite events as needed.
• Legally authorized to work in Canada; completion of a criminal background check required.
