Account Processing Officer

Our client is seeking an Account Processing Officer to join their team. As an Account Processing Officer  you will be part of the Wholesale Brokerage and Operations supporting day-to-day service delivery for branch/client requests. 

Job Title: Account Processing Officer - 108383

Location: Halifax, NS

Pay Range: $23.25/hr
Shift: Day shift 9am–5pm ADT; Monday to Friday

What's the Job?

• Provide professional, timely, and efficient service to branch (client) requests by processing complex and often multi-product financial and non-financial transactions.
• Research and investigate administrative requests, applying the appropriate rules and regulations to ensure accurate processing.
• Process transactions with consistency and precision, supporting high-quality client service across Wholesale Brokerage and Operations.
• Collaborate with colleagues and management to improve the quality of client service and contribute to process improvements.
• Provide guidance to more junior staff as required and look for opportunities to streamline workflows.

• Attention to detail to accurately handle complex administrative and transaction processing tasks.
• Quick learning to adapt to rules, procedures, and operational workflows.
• Decision-making skills to support consistent and compliant processing outcomes.
• Ability to research and investigate requests thoroughly while following applicable rules and regulations.
• Professional communication and teamwork skills to coordinate with colleagues and management.
