Live-Out Nanny for a 1 year old

We are a warm and respectful family seeking a caring, reliable, and experienced part-time nanny to provide attentive care for our 1-year-old son. We are looking for someone who is patient, nurturing, safety-conscious, and genuinely enjoys supporting toddlers through an important stage of growth and development. Our ideal candidate understands toddler development, encourages learning through play, and is comfortable supporting a child with food allergies and feeding challenges. Schedule:

• Part-time: 6 hours per day, Monday–Friday
• Exact hours to be discussed (flexible within daytime schedule)

Responsibilities: 1. Child Care

• Provide attentive, loving, and engaging care throughout the day.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and stimulating environment.
• Supervise all activities and ensure the child's safety at all times.
• Follow established daily routines for meals, naps, play, and outings.

2. Feeding

• Prepare healthy toddler meals and snacks.
• Follow a dairy-free (CMPA-friendly) diet and strictly avoid allergens.
• Encourage independent eating using responsive feeding techniques.
• Support gradual exposure to age-appropriate textures without pressure.
• Clean high chair, bibs, bottles, and feeding supplies after meals.

3. Development

• Plan age-appropriate educational and sensory activities.
• Read books, sing songs, and encourage language development.
• Promote motor skill development through active indoor and outdoor play.
• Limit screen time and prioritize interactive learning

4.Daily Care

• Change diapers and assist with hygiene.
• Dress the child appropriately for the weather.
• Support healthy sleep routines and naps.

5. Household Tasks (Child-Related)

• Wash and sterilize bottles when needed.
• Wash the child's dishes and utensils.
• Keep toys organized and play areas tidy.
• Wash and fold the child's laundry as needed.
• Prepare meals in advance for the child when appropriate.

Qualifications

• Previous experience caring for infants or toddlers (minimum 2 years preferred)
• CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
• Understanding of toddler development
• Experience with food allergies is an asset
• Patient, calm, dependable, and organized
• Non-smoker
• Strong references required

Languages

• Must be able to communicate clearly in at least one of the following: English, Filipino, or Arabic
• Additional languages are a strong asset and should be included in your application
