Civil Engineer / Project Manager Location: Cowichan Valley or Victoria, BC
TRS Staffing Solutions is recruiting on behalf of a confidential client for a Municipal Engineer / Project Manager to support the planning, design, and delivery of municipal infrastructure projects in a rapidly growing region of British Columbia.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead municipal infrastructure projects including roads, utilities, water/wastewater systems, bridges, and parks.
• Manage project schedules, budgets, deliverables, and client communications.
• Prepare and review engineering designs, reports, cost estimates, and contract documents.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, and regulatory agencies.
• Support business development efforts and maintain strong client relationships.
• Mentor and provide guidance to junior engineers and technical staff.
Qualifications: • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering.
• P.Eng. or P.L.Eng. designation in good standing with Engineers and Geoscientists BC.
• 5+ years of municipal engineering and project management experience.
• Strong leadership, client management, and business development skills.
• Proven ability to deliver infrastructure projects on time and within budget.
• Experience working with municipalities, developers, and contractors is considered an asset.
