Software Development Manager - AutoCanada

Become the Software Development Manager at AutoCanada, supporting a hybrid model as you lead impactful software projects. Foster a team-oriented environment while ensuring high delivery standards.
In this immediate full-time position, you will manage a dynamic team of 5-8 software developers, overseeing hiring, performance management, and career development. You'll focus on aligning technical outcomes with business objectives and contribute directly to engineering efforts on critical tasks. This role places significant value on leadership and collaboration.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead a development team of 5–8 professionals
• Drive hiring, interviewing, and onboarding efforts
• Manage project delivery, removing obstacles efficiently
• Maintain clear communication with the VP on delivery
• Hands-on involvement in code review practices
Requirements:
• Minimum 8 years of software development experience
• 3+ years in a managerial role for development teams
• Experience in Agile/Scrum environments
• Strong skills in performance management
• Degree in a relevant technical field
